The structural features of hybrid stepper motors are mainly reflected in the design of their stators and rotors. Hybrid stepper motors consist of two parts: stator and rotor. The stator usually has 8 poles or 4 poles, and a certain number of small teeth are evenly distributed on the pole surface. The coil on the stator can be energized in two directions to form phase A and phase B. The rotor consists of two tooth plates with a certain number of small teeth evenly distributed on the circumference, and the two tooth plates are staggered by half a tooth pitch. An axially magnetized annular permanent magnet is sandwiched between the two tooth plates. All teeth on the same section of the rotor plate have the same polarity, while the polarities of the two different sections of the rotor plates are opposite. This design makes the hybrid stepper motor have unique application value in the field of mechatronics.
